Admission to the Postgraduate program is through an interest-based path. It is highly desirable that applicants report to his/her planned supervisor and discuss research interests. Adequate background includes a bachelor’s degree in Biology, Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine. The majority of successful applicants have had undergraduate research experience.
On average ten MSc and 15 PhD students enter the Program each year. Admission tests for the MSc course are usually done twice yearly (June and December) based on a series of evaluations by an Admissions Committee. For the PhD course, there are no specific dates.
Complete application form (download application form), transcripts, undergraduate records, exam scores, curriculum vitae and two letters of recommendation are needed. A completed application pack must be submitted to the Program’s Office, located at the School of Medicine (5th floor). The prospective student should look for current dates and forms available in this website.
